Welcome to my virtual art gallery! I hope you enjoy the images I have created. Notice that I have topically arranged the galleries so if you don't happen to like birds, for example, (what's not to like about birds?!) you don't have to scroll through a bunch of imagery that you don't care to look at. Please know that I am constantly adding new images, and may have several works in various stages of completion at any given time, so these galleries will grow as I complete new works. If you want to keep up with my new artwork, I invite you to sign up for my email Newsletter, and you will be a member of my exclusive club!
My TECHNIQUE to Create these Drawings:
Most of these images were created with a .005 Micron Pen, with which I developed the basic value structures and textures first. Once satisfied with the black and white version of the drawing, I then select the pallet of colored pastel pencils that I will need to accomplish the correct hues of the original object. Sometimes, this requires multiple layers of pastels blended together to arrive at the correct hue. The application of the pastel pencils most often obliterates the pen work that lies underneath. Next, this layer of color is then burnished into the surface of the paper and a kneaded rubber eraser is then used to "shave" off the excess layers of pastels, once again revealing the original pen work below. Basically, the image is fully rendered twice, once in black and white, and then again in color, to achieve the final results. PLEASE NOTE: Computer monitors vary considerably, so the intensity/brilliance of colors that you observe on your particular screen may differ from the printed product. However, I have personally adjusted the image files to match the originals as closely as possible. Please let me know if you are not satisfied with the product you receive, and we will make it right. I will personally work with the printer to correct any issues.
PRICING INFORMATION:
When you select a specific image you will be asked to then select a medium, ranging from photo paper to canvas wrap to metal plate. My originals are all drawings, not paintings, and I draw directly on the finest archival paper possible. The different media you select may have more "texture" than the originals, but my drawings will look great regardless. It is simply a matter of personal taste. Next, you then select the size you would like, and then choose if you want just the print, if you want it matted or even framed and ready to hang on your wall. If you select framed, you will then be directed to choose a style of frame or matte/frame combination. There is a price "ticker" that will instantly recalculate the purchase price each time you make, or change, a selection, so you will know exactly what that piece of artwork will cost with the combinations you have selected. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the onsite feature of my website that allows you to view your selected artwork in our "WALL PREVIEW" which shows you what that piece might look like in different interior environments, and even select the paint color of the wall! Finally, with the wonderful feature "LIVE VIEW AR (Augmented Reality) you can use your smartphone or pad to see what MY artwork will look like in YOUR living space, and you can even resize it and move it around as needed. And you don't have to download any additional app or software! Incredible!
Don't forget to sign up for email notifications that will keep you up to date on new works as I complete them and even in-progress reports, as well as the development of additional content and special announcements. This website will be regularly modified and updated to provide the best online experience possible, even if you just want to "window shop"! Thanks for stopping in!
